Appliance Deals

It is said contractors can always build their homes for less because they know where all the good deals are. I would like to share with you some of those good deals. The following two stores are essentially scratch and dent type outlets that the contractors visit regularly. SUNWEST, this store has only Viking and Faber appliances but has a showroom that will take your breath away and leave you with some great ideas. ARIZONA WHOLESALE SUPPLY, this warehouse carries most all brands and has an impressive amount of inventory.

If you find something you like ask about the warranty, usually these items will be covered by a “factory warranty”. Also find out how long it can be stored after purchase and if delivery is available. Not all scratch and dent merchandise is damaged at all. When a unit is installed in a new home and has a part that malfunctioned the first time it was used, rather than wait for a new part the store will install a new appliance and repair the first unit and sell it later at a big discount. The appliance have been on display in a stores showroom but never used, when the new years model comes in, it is replaced and again sold through an outlet at a discount. Visit these stores, ask a lot of questions, make sure the unit will fit in the space it’s destined for, ask about return policies, storing options, delivery, if it can be repackaged for transport, includes the owners manuals, ect. With a little legwork you may be able to save yourself a lot of money.
